Baynham Island
HISTORY
Baynham Island
Baynham Island was named in 1868 by Commander H. M.
Bingham, RN, in HMS Virago. Adjacent islands, Mansell, Keyser and
Thomas, were also named by Bingham after members of Virago's crew
and it seems likely Baynham also was a crew member.
